韩国在韩日争议岛屿登陆演习因天气拙劣被取消

中新11月24日电 据韩联社报导，韩国政府消息人士24日表示，韩国当日在独岛(韩日争议岛屿，日本称竹岛)邻近海域实行了名为“独岛防御演习”的军事演习，旨在抵抗外部权势“入侵”。但独岛登陆演习因天气问题被取消。

据悉，韩国型驱逐舰“杨万春号”舰(3200吨)等海军6艘舰艇、1艘海警警备舰、山猫直升飞等海军和海警战斗力参与了演习。

该消息人士还表示，韩国海军陆战队原计划搭乘UH-60直升机登陆独岛，但由于气象条件不佳，计划被取消。韩国空军战斗机也因天气关系未能出动。

韩军从1986年起每一年实行两次独岛防御演习，今年第一次演习于5月30日举行。韩联社称，日本执意称对独岛具有主权，因此每次韩军举行该演习，日方都会向韩国政府提出抗议。

“独岛”是韩日争端岛屿，目前由韩国实际控制该岛。该岛位于韩国郁陵岛以东约70千米处，由东、西两个小岛和周围32个小礁组成，面积为 0.18平方公里。日本曾于1954年和1962年就独岛主权问题向国际法院提起诉讼，但是韩国方面谢绝回应日方诉讼，并谢绝接受国际法院仲裁。
